These panoramas were shot during a trip to the Somme, France. It was a fact finding mission to better understand what my wifes Grandfather went through while serving in the Royal Naval Division during World War 1. Luckily he made it through the war, but it wasn't easy for him. By visiting the places the battles took place you can really understand what an uphill struggle the soilders faced, and then when you saw the cemeteries, you understood at what cost. A trip like this really put things into perspective.
